Methodology
- Our sponsor data. Book a Sponsor reads the public issues of the newsletters it tracks and records each paid ad it can back with a tracking link, a sponsor label or ad wording. Counts run from 2020 to 20 October 2026. They are a floor: ads in paid-only posts or through networks that print no label are not seen, and the newsletters tracked are not a random sample of all newsletters.
- Our prices. The rates come from 851 advertise and media-kit pages read on 29 September 2026; each newsletter counts once, at its cheapest main slot. List sizes are the counts the newsletter prints.
- Our pitches. 30,902 pitches sent for 72 newsletters between 27 August 2026 and 6 October 2026; a yes is the brand's first human answer saying it is interested. Aggregates only.
- Everyone else's numbers. 115 statistics from 39 sources. Each was traced to the organization that measured or first reported it, fetched on or before 20 October 2026 to confirm the number is on the page, and is shown with the month it was published. Company figures about the company itself are that company's claims. Roundup and listicle pages were never used as a source.
- Updates. Our own numbers are re-read daily from the same snapshot as the sponsor list. Outside numbers are re-checked monthly, new ones are added, and a number that changes is replaced and re-dated.
