| Price to you | No publisher fee on its pages; you apply, and lists under its size bar join a waitlist | $1 card check gets 200 emails, then a plan from $19/mo, initial emails and follow-ups |

| Who does the selling and the paperwork | Wellput sells to the brands and sets up each campaign; you choose which ones run and approve each before it sends | Book a Sponsor, from its own mailboxes and domains; you read the pitch and can block any brand |
| Where it falls short | It works only with US newsletters of 20,000+ subscribers, income per send isn't fixed because the rate follows your clicks, and its cut isn't published | The pitches are cold email, so most brands won't answer, and each reply still needs you to close the deal. Each plan includes a set number of emails a month (Starter $19 a month for up to 600 emails a month, Kit $49 a month for up to 1,500 emails a month, Growth $99 a month for up to 3,000 emails a month), and sending stops at the plan's emails. It takes no bookings or payments and works for newsletters only. |

| Network size it states | 1,000+ newsletters | Not a network: it emails brands for one newsletter at a time |
Who can join Wellput?
Wellput's publisher page says it works with US newsletters that have 20,000 or more subscribers, and that smaller lists can join a waitlist and hear back when they reach it (read 22 October 2026). You apply, and Wellput reviews the newsletter for fit with its brand campaigns.
Half of the 1,317 newsletters with a reported list size that ran a paid sponsor ad in Book a Sponsor's reading had 16,000 subscribers or fewer (9 July 2026 to 7 October 2026), under Wellput's 20,000 minimum. So at least half of the newsletters with a reported list size that ran paid sponsors in that reading sit below its bar. Book a Sponsor has no subscriber minimum; the list-size guide shows how often each size runs a paid ad.
How does Wellput pay publishers?
Per click, at a rate Wellput calls dynamic CPC. Its publisher FAQ says the rate rises when your readers engage and convert and falls when they don't, so the same send can earn more over time. It publishes no standard rate and no payout schedule on the pages we read (22 October 2026).
The brands buy in bulk. Wellput's brand page sets a $5K minimum for a one-off Flight campaign and $25,000 over three months ($5K to $15K a month) for an ongoing program, all priced per click and fully managed by its team. Those are performance budgets spread across many newsletters, not a flat fee for one issue.
Do Wellput and Book a Sponsor compete for the same deals?
Not by design. Wellput's FAQ says it fills unsold inventory without competing with the direct deals you already run. Book a Sponsor brings those direct deals: it emails brands that sponsored newsletters like yours, and you quote a flat rate when one replies. A US list over 20,000 subscribers can run both; under 20,000, Wellput is a waitlist. The Wellput alternatives page compares the other networks and marketplaces open to you.
